Welcome to the Tundra!
The Complete Business Control System
ERP, MRP, Production Control, MES… these labels get used constantly, yet most people couldn’t clearly explain the difference. To keep things simple, we’ll skip the jargon and explain it like this instead.
Manage your entire business seamlessly — from the first sale through to the final invoice. Gain deep, real-time control over every stage of production, with the tools to meet the strictest compliance and quality standards. Built to support everything from small manufacturing businesses to the most demanding sectors like Aerospace, Defence, Oil & Gas, Nuclear and Medical, it keeps you in command, in control and always compliant — whether you need strict regulation or simply want to run a tighter, more efficient operation.
Modern, Connected, Efficient
Traditional ERP systems are a stagnant industry — weighed down by archaic software that feels decades out of date. In manufacturing, technology swings between extremes: cutting-edge innovations like virtual reality and AI on one side and on the other, spreadsheets and disconnected systems struggling to keep up. This fragmentation creates silos, slows decision-making and drives massive inefficiencies. We’re here to change that. By leveraging modern, integrated technologies, we deliver a truly connected view of your operations, giving the right people the right information at exactly the right time — unlocking speed, clarity and performance like never before.
Flexible, Integrated, Built Around Your Processes
Tundra delivers all the production control capabilities you need — but we know every company works differently. That’s why the system is built with the flexibility to adapt to your processes, not force you into ours. And because many businesses already have tools they want to keep using, Tundra is designed to integrate seamlessly with external solutions. With a growing library of ready-to-go integrations and a fast, secure framework for adding new ones — whether by our team or yours — connecting your entire operation has never been easier.
Multi-Discipline Manufacturing, Made Simple
Many engineering systems are awkwardly “hacked” to fit surface finishing companies, while others are built so narrowly for sectors like additive manufacturing that they can’t handle anything else. For companies working across multiple disciplines, real options are scarce — mostly due to a lack of understanding of how different manufacturing processes work and the unique requirements they bring.
With a background that spans launching and running a surface finishing MRP, working at multiple engineering MRP providers and creating one of the first additive manufacturing MES solutions, we know these industries inside out — and we know the pain points.
Tundra is built to support all these capabilities without locking you into one. Whether you’re an engineering specialist moving into additive manufacturing with powder traceability and batch-build processes or a heat treatment company branching into NDT, Tundra adapts. Whatever your mix of manufacturing disciplines, Tundra can probably help you.
Here’s What the System Delivers
Sales – Manage orders, review contracts, track profitability and guide each order through to completion — keeping your customers coming back.
Stock Management – Know exactly what’s on site and in what state. Track stock from free issue and free stock, through production, to ready-to-deliver or out for delivery, with full traceability down to the serial number.
Purchasing – Raise and track supplier orders with all related quality data, including batch numbers, certificates and serials. For subcontract work, create orders, track shipments and link all records to the job for complete traceability.
Production – Plan with precision. Schedule operations, track progress, monitor stock and asset use, log quality issues and split jobs into smaller batches. Capture data in real time on any browser-enabled device — from shop-floor machines to tablets and phones.
Quality – Resolve issues fast. Log rejects for faulty supplier materials, rework damaged parts, request customer concessions or launch corrective action plans. Identify causes, contain problems and put preventative controls in place.
Shipping – Track every shipment, whether delivering finished parts, returning free-issue items or sending work to subcontractors. Record collections, truck deliveries and courier shipments with full visibility.
Finance – Generate invoices, pro forma invoices and credit notes to keep cash flow healthy and customer accounts in order.
Reporting – Turn data into insight. Build reports in seconds to reveal performance, profitability and customer satisfaction trends.
Intuitive Design Over Complexity
There’s a saying in software: “garbage in, garbage out.” A system can only work if it’s fed the right information. Often, existing systems fail not because they lack capability, but because users don’t input the necessary data.
Why don’t users enter this information? Most of the time, it’s because the system is overcomplicated. It takes too long to input data and the effort outweighs the benefit — making the system inefficient and even detrimental to the business.
We approached this differently. Our system is designed around usability, simplicity and customisation. If your company doesn’t do something, why should it appear in the system? If you’re making changes to a job, why navigate multiple screens? You shouldn’t have to.
So why don’t other providers do this? Two main reasons:
Development focus – Most systems are built by backend developers who excel at logic and algorithms but lack user experience and interface design skills.
Commercial priorities – Complex systems justify lengthy, expensive training programs. Simple, intuitive systems require less training, which can make them harder to “sell” in traditional software budgets.
Our goal is software that’s not just powerful, but truly usable. Training is there to unlock the system’s full potential — not to teach basic tasks like raising a sales order. If the core system isn’t intuitive, no one will use it.
And we can prove it: one of our customers, with 35 users, went live after just 3 hours of training — with zero impact on production or delivery performance.
